SMS Assist
As a content marketing and media manager at SMS Assist, my role involved getting to know each of our audiences—customers, service providers and job seekers—and creating marketing collateral that engaged these audiences and solved pain points along various stages and touchpoints of journey maps, all while maintaining brand voice and tone.
Prime Publishing
Prime Publishing LLC is a group of more than 35 cooking and crafting websites. As an editor of the largest craft property, I was responsible for full strategy and execution of website, email newsletter and social media content. I optimized site content for SEO; built, A/B tested and scheduled daily newsletters for more than 400,000 subscribers; and created and scheduled daily social media posts. I reported on performance for all to inform future content strategy.

Writing & Reporting
My background in journalism has given me a strong foundation in reporting, writing and editing that informs every role. It has provided me a passion for storytelling and its power to foster connection that is woven into every writing assignment. My reporting skills are essential to understanding how to ask the right questions and building relationships with sources and stakeholders. Journalism has also made me a quick study in becoming familiar with a wide variety of topics, getting to know many audiences, and learning how to package content across many channels and formats to answer those audiences' wants and needs.
